Blom vases

How to maintain the feeling of softness and malleability of unfired porcelain? The vases are carefully designed and made rigid patterns for, controlled. Yet I encourage them to take control. Dance in the kiln.

Pals

Handsome beings that at times take bodily presence. Their spirits live in the woods and greeneries close by. Their personalities may be awkward, but they have good hearts. They are friends, handsome reliable friends.

Domesticated Sun

Summer is the best. Summer is for light, warmth… and flowers. Our yellow Sun is the key contributor in this all-encompassing delight. And a domesticated sun sparks rays of joy and light every single day of the year.

Each piece I make is a step forward. Sometimes a lesson. Here the lesson is that skinny legs aren't strong enough for a big personality. Luckily I enjoyed making these and the glazes work well. So many things accomplished.
This is just one colour, one glaze. The sea of knowledge to be gathered and experiments to learn from makes ceramics intriguing to me. A bright happy green glaze can't be that hard to make? Weeks of measuring, sieving, hopes and curiosity and piles
