My work exists in the space between the controlled and the unpredictable, the real and the imagined. Each figurine is a small companion, rooted in care and a belief that art can make the world a little friendlier.

How to maintain the feeling of softness and malleability of unfired porcelain? The vases are carefully designed and made rigid patterns for, controlled. Yet I encourage them to take control. Dance in the kiln.
Pals
Handsome beings that at times take bodily presence. Their spirits live in the woods and greeneries close by. Their personalities may be awkward, but they have good hearts. They are friends, handsome reliable friends.
Domesticated Sun
Summer is the best. Summer is for light, warmth… and flowers. Our yellow Sun is the key contributor in this all-encompassing delight. And a domesticated sun sparks rays of joy and light every single day of the year.
